Terms of Service
Kentaner Ventures LLC ("KV") is a licensed livery service operating in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. By accessing Kentaner Ventures LLC's website, www.kvchauffeurs.com, and by requesting, purchasing, or booking services through this site, the user and customer ("Guest") agrees to and is bound by the following terms of service ("TS"), acceptable use policy ("AUP"), and privacy policy ("PP"), which can be found at the specified web address for the PP. This includes all rates, fees, and surcharges.
Base Fares
A fuel or electric charge of 5% will be added to the base fare for all services. For hourly invoicing, the rate is calculated from the moment the vehicle departs the KV garage until it returns, with a minimum charge of two (2) hours per day. Any fractional hour will be rounded up to the nearest half-hour. Unless otherwise specified in writing by KV, all deposits are non-refundable. The invoice will detail all stop and wait times.
Wait Time
For all point-to-point or hourly reservations, wait time will incur a charge of ten dollars ($10.00) for each fifteen (15) minute increment after the grace period has expired. The grace period is set at 10 minutes beyond the scheduled pickup time for these services. For airport reservations, a thirty (30) minute grace period is permitted after the reported arrival time of domestic flights, while a sixty (60) minute grace period applies for international flights. For Bus schedules it will be impossible to monitor, so time tracking will start at the scheduled pickup time.
Additional Charges
These charges may or may not be present on the invoice statement:
- Two-Way Tolls
- Parking
- Airport Fees
- Other out-of-pocket charges
Cancellation
Cancellations for local Massachusetts trips must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time. If the cancellation is not made within this timeframe, a cancellation fee will apply, which includes the full fare and any additional charges.
No-Show Fees
A no-show fee will be charged equivalent to the expected trip cost, along with any applicable service fees and wait time. If you are unable to find your chauffeur, please call 781-856-3252 to prevent a no-show fee. A no-show is calculated as when the grace period and an additional 15 minutes have elapsed, and the guest has not arrived at the designated location.
Trip Modification
Any modifications to a reservation made within 24 hours (for local Massachusetts trips) may result in an additional fee, as outlined in the cancellation policy.
Last Minute Booking
Last minute booking means reservations made 6 hours before pick-up time. A $25.00 fee will be applied to any last-minute booking. This surcharge is essential to facilitate urgent bookings and guarantee timely first class service.
Billing
Invoices will be charged to the guest's credit card linked to their account, as specified during the reservation process. KV will charge the guest once the requested booking is completed for any additional fees, or upon cancellation, in line with the cancellation, additional charges, and wait time policies mentioned above.
Holidays
Kentaner Ventures LLC applies a holiday surcharge of forty dollars ($40.00) for all trips taking place on the following holidays: New Year's Day, Presidents Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
Damage to Vehicle
The Guest is responsible and liable to KV for any damage inflicted on any property belonging to KV or third parties during the use of services provided by or through KV, whether caused by the Guest or any member of the Guest's party. In addition to the fees outlined above, the Guest will incur a charge of one hundred dollars ($100.00) for each carpet or seat burn and two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) for any additional damage or cleaning needed due to the Guest's use or that of their party. If the damage or expenses exceed two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00), the Guest will be liable for all necessary cleaning and/or repairs.
Best Efforts and Limitation of Liability
KV will make its best efforts, in good faith, to deliver the requested services; however, KV shall not be held responsible or liable for any failure or delay in service provision due to weather conditions, road conditions, vehicle breakdowns, delays or disruptions caused by public carriers, or other circumstances beyond KV's reasonable control. KV will inform the Guest as soon as possible of any difficulties encountered or anticipated in delivering the requested services. The Guest acknowledges that KV will not be liable for any lost or damaged luggage, personal belongings, or items left in a vehicle or on the premises of KV or any affiliate.
Guest Conduct
KV adheres to a strictly non-smoking policy. KV reserves the right to prohibit smoking, alcohol consumption, and any other inappropriate behavior in the vehicle or during the trips. Additionally, any chauffeur may terminate a specific trip or other services if the Guest or any member of the Guest's party fails to comply with our guest conduct policy.
Website Acceptable Use Policy
Hacking, Viruses, & Network Attacks: Unauthorized access to any computer or communication system, including those supporting the KV website, is prohibited. Attempts to breach or disable any security systems are not allowed. Intentionally distributing a computer virus, conducting denial of service attacks, or interfering in any way with the operation of any computer, communication system, or website is forbidden. Users must not attempt to access or interfere with other users' accounts within the Service.
Spam: Bulk unsolicited emails ("Spam") must not be sent, nor should any products or services related to Spam be sold or marketed. Users must not facilitate or cooperate in the spread of Spam in any manner, nor violate the CAN-Spam Act of 2003.
Intellectual Property: Respect for the copyrights, trademark rights, trade secret rights, and other intellectual property rights of KV is required. All rights are reserved. Violating this Acceptable Use Policy (the "AUP") may result in suspension or termination of the Client's account and/or legal action. Additionally, the Client may be responsible for the costs associated with investigations and remedial measures related to AUP violations. KV reserves the right to pursue any other necessary corrective actions it deems appropriate.
Terms of Service & Acceptable Use Policy– Subject to Change
KV reserves the right to modify this Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy at any time by publishing a new version on this page or a successor page. The updated version will take effect on the date it is posted, which will be indicated at the top of the page. We encourage you to review this page regularly for any updates. Your continued use of our services and website after changes are posted will be considered as your acceptance of this policy and any modifications. Reservations made before a change is posted will be honored according to the policies and rates in effect at the time of booking.
